Seabrook, Blackhawks “Re-energized” For New Season
As difficult as it may have been watching a series last early exit at the hands of an old enemy may not have been the worst thing for the Blackhawks Jersey. St. Louis lost Game 7 may have provided the Hawks with the rest they need to make another run this year.
"After a long summer, I felt like in retirement," said defenseman Brent Seabrook.

Seabrook, a former gold medalist with Team Canada, is one of two key members of the team in training camp and did not play in the World Cup. Duncan Keith missed the competition and (right knee) but participated in practice.
"Yeah, it's a little different," said Seabrook. "It is obvious that many of these guys I played with a lot of years and has established good relations with always nice to see. But they do their thing, was a great tournament. I have seen many it. Be good to recover. "
